TIMMY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Timmy           Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/lab mix   Best Guess for Age:  6 months as of Feb 2025           SEX:  male   Estimated Weight: 33 lbs -- he still has some growing to do!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen Timmy with cats or kids, but he can be tested.   Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter. Timmy needs a foster or forever home to make his way to the DC area!  Timmy is Looking For: This wonky-eared boy landed in the shelter through no fault of his own, and now he's looking for a fresh start in the DC area! He's full of young-dog zest for life and can't wait to go on long walks and make new friends at the dog park. He's also excited to give obedience training a try so he can learn some new tricks and manners. (He heard they give out lots of treats there!) Most of all, Timmy wants to know that he is safe and loved for all of his days in a home of his very own. What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
