LENNON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Lennon         Best Guess for Breed:   Wire Haired Terrier/Terrier mix    Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of December 2024         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  30lbs as of December 2024   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen Lennon with cats or kids, but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:  Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area!   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Lennon would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Lennon is Looking For:  A family who will shower him with love! Lennon is still a young pup and would love an active family who can help him get his energy out. What do you say? Could Lennon be the next addition to your family? Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
