Meet Shirley

Shirley is a shy sweet girl that truly loves people once she has settled in. Since she can be a little nervous at first, we feel that she would do best with kids 6+ that understand how to be slow and respectful with dogs especially as they get settled in. She has done well with most of the dogs in her foster home, but does snap on occasion when one wakes her up from her nap. She has done great with the cats in her foster home. She is a jumper, so puppy gates, half doors, low tables are all easily cleared for this girl, but she is overall respectful of boundaries while people are home. We also believe she is a bit of a digger though we have no solid proof that she is the culprit in her current foster home., so a secure backyard or solid leashed walk plan is necessary for her.

Adoption Process
We require references on our adoption application. Once approved we must obtain a signature on our adoption contract. General adoption fee: $150 (exceptions can be made)
