Meet Maya

Little Maya was found by animal control officers dumped in a box on a trail in SE DC with her brother Manny. These poor pups had a horrible start to life. Maya was emaciated and stained with urine. Since arriving in her foster home, Maya has continued to open up and show us how much love she has to give. She’s very dog friendly and living with 4 other dogs. She absolutely adores her foster mama and although she’s slow to warm up to new people, with treats and time she opens up. We have no doubt that she will continue to learn to trust humans, despite her past.  Maya is housetrained so long as she gets frequent potty breaks or hangs in her crate when you can’t watch her. She sleeps soundly in her crate next to her fosters bed too. Adopt sweet Maya and give her the life she never could have imagined! 

Adoption Process
Fill out an application, a background check is completed, personal and vet references are checked, and a home visit is required before adoption. Puppies under 8 months - $375 Dogs 8 months - 7 years - $275 Dogs 7+ - $200
