ALLIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Allie        Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd mix  Best Guess for Age:  6 years as of April 2025        SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:  44 lbs   Gets Along With:  Allie is great with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. She has lived with a child from ages 7-11. She hasn't been seen with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.   Currently Living at:  DC area home   All about Allie:   Allie arrived into our care as a young puppy in 2019 and was adopted out quickly. Her previous humans loved her very much and gave her an amazing life. Through no fault of anyone, she now needs a new home.   She is a friendly, loving girl who can be a little shy and nervous. She is very, very dog friendly and loves going to doggie daycare and dog parks. She benefits from being around confident dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. Allie may be around six years old - way out of the puppy yips - but she has all that awesome dog energy still! Loves her walkies, loves playing at the dog park, loves running around in the backyard. Is always all set and ready to head out with her humans for all the adventures they can dream up. She is oh so eager to once again have her own family for all that.    Most of all, she wants to know she's safe and loved, where she belongs. In exchange she has so much to offer. Adoring gazes, happy tail wags, loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Are you Allie's new chapter? Is she the one for your home and your heart? Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
