GLADYS - #A554579 is a 2yr old black and tan German Shepherd mix that came in as a stray on 01/07/2025. This is what our volunteers have to say about her: Gladys is one of those dogs that blossoms as soon as she is outside and able to run and play. Sheâs like a different dog. Gladys is a beautiful German shepherd and Alaskan husky who is listed as 2-years-old. I walked her twice and she was more confident and less anxious on our second walk. She can be a bit timid in her kennel and weary of all the noise but once sheâs outside and smelling the fresh air and doggy smells, she wants to play and run around. She will potty right away outside and walks pretty well on a leash but could use some help in redirecting occasional leash biting. Gladys will do well with someone who can help her decompress and match her energy. She is a truly lovely and fun girl. She loves to play and run around, playing with all the toys in the big playpen. She enjoys prancing and chasing toys to bring them back to you. Gladys showed no signs of guarding her toys as she easily allowed me to pick them up and throw them. She was like, hurry up lady.
