TICKET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Ticket       Best Guess for Breed:    Terrier and cattle dog mix    Best Guess for Age:   5 months as of January 2025         SEX:  Male   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):   22 lbs as of 1/14/25   Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:   Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride here on Saturday 1/18   Special Adoption Considerations:       Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Ticket is Looking For:   His forever family! He's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it and he's an active boy! He'd love to make pup pals along the way, to, and go to dog school so he can show how super smart he is! Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs - yes, please. But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to know he's safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and loyal, fun companionship. What do you say? Can you see him by your side?   What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
