Meet Chance
Most handsome boy Chance is here and ready to go on adventures with his new family! He will be a year old April 13th, 2025! He does know basic commands but he is still very puppy like and will benefit from some training as he doesn't really know boundaries. He will do better in a home with older children is best as he can be pushy and a bit nippy especially when trying to let you know he is ready for attention. he hasn't been around cats or dogs since he was super young and we would require a dog test to see how everyone gets along. For cats super slow and patient introductions is the best way to go. He loves his toys and cuddling with his blankies and big stuffies! He is very energetic and will do great in an active family that will give him the proper way to express his energy. He is crate trained and housetrained. He loves to ride in the car and going on adventures. He does well in the bath and while being brushed! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines! Interested in adopting? Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
