Meet Paul

Paul is a hound mix that is between 5-8 years old. He came to us as stray and was never reclaimed. He is nervous but the sweetest man and loves to be with his humans and get all the pets he can. He LOVES his toys especially the stuffy kind with the squeakers! He knows sit and takes treats super gentle. He walks well on leash and enjoys long walks. We are unsure of him with kitties and suggest super slow and patient introductions. We are also unsure of him with dogs and would require a dog test. We feel with his calm and gentle demeanor that he would do well in a home with kids and would want them to come to the meet and greet to see their interactions and make sure everyone is happy. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Interested in adopting? Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
