Meet Bb

Sweet and petite BB is between 3-4 years old. She is a hound mix that came to us as a stray so we don't have any history about her past. Since she has been with us she has been very playful and full of energy. She is a little skittish of men so it may take a couple of meets to make her feel safe and comfy. She has done well with all the ladies she has met. We feel she would do well in a family with kids as long as they give her time to decompress and get comfortable with everyone. We would like the kiddos to come to the meet and greet. We are unsure of her with the kitty variety so as we say super slow and patient introductions is the best way to go. She has met a couple dogs here at the shelter and seems to be happy with her pup friends around. A dog test will be required to see if everyone is happy with each other. She loves to go on walks and use her hound nose to sniff all the things! She would make a great adventure buddy for hiking or walks in the park. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.Interested in adopting? Adoption Process
Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application. We verify that current pets are UTD on Rabies vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the applicants rent we verify with the landlord that they are approved to adopt a pet. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract and sterilization agreement if the pet is not already altered. Pets that are not altered can only be adopted out to residents of Warren County or a surrounding jurisdiction. The adoption fee for cats is $15 and the fee for dogs is $30. The adoption fee does not include the cost of spay or neuter. If the animal is not altered adopters are required to have the pet altered within 30 days of adoption or by the time it reaches 6 months old.
