SWAGGER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Swagger Best Guess for Breed: German Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of February 2023 SEX: male Approximate Weight: 60lbs as of 2/24/23; he might still have a bit more to grow. Gets Along With: Other dogs! Although Swagger does not live with children, he was demonstrated that he is very gentle with all the kids he interacts with! Swagger is not recommended for a home with cats. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Check out this video of Swagger: https://youtu.be/brKsd_rX0So. Swagger is Looking For: This handsome boy is looking for his adventure buddy! Swagger may play it cool but secretly, he's a big teddy bear that cannot wait to cuddle. Swagger is still a young puppy and has a little bit more to grow and definitely a lot to learn. Swagger will be an amazing side-kick and will thrive in an environment where he can learn the puppy training basics and will get all of the exercise his young heart desires! What My Foster Says About Me: Swagger. Is. Amazing. He is still a young dog who needs some help to develop more confidence and manners, but he's pretty much perfect. He does well in a crate at night but is working on crate training during the day. The leash manners are brilliant (he does bark at other dogs), he's gentle around kids and has a super light touch with the mouth. He's totally housebroken and relieves himself outdoors immediately. He's playful but not overbearing. Likes other dogs. Good fitness, seemingly can walk without limit in normal temps, and he's probably a good runner. I suspect he's going to get bigger because he hasn't quite grown into his long limbs and he's very lean (we can see every rib and a tight waist). Most importantly, he's affectionate and sociable with people. Doesn't protect food or territory that I can tell (he'll bark at the doorbell but admits strangers without trouble). He likes riding in the car, especially if he can get into or near the front seat. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
