Meet Kenzie

UPDATE 9/5/22:  Kenzi looks somewhat like a shorter, less bulky Rottweiler (about 47 pounds). Her personality is bubbly and enthusiastic, though she can be shy and less confident in clamorous situations. Found as a stray, it is unknown what kind of life she had prior to coming to Almost Home. She has been consistently happy to be around all people, including children. Other friendly dogs seem to be a comfort to her.   Two-year-old Kenzi was well-mannered with our shelter kitties when she was introduced to them. She is interested in learning and is clean in her room. She will go right into a crate and is quiet and calm traveling in a car.   Kenzi’s lovable personality, good looks, and smarts make her a winning ticket that can be yours (after she is spayed on September 6 and recovered).  

Adoption Process
Dogs: $100 - Includes Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia Test, DHLPP and Rabies Vaccination, Dewormings, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering. Puppies (0-6 months): $150 - Includes 3 DHLPP Vaccinations, 3 Dewormings, a Certificate for a Rabies Vaccination, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering by a participating veterinarian. Cats: $40 (or 2 for $50) Includes Feline Leukemia/Aids test, 2 RCP Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccination, 2 Dewormings, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering. Kittens (0-6 Months): $80 (or 2 for $120) includes a Feline Leukemia/Aids test, 3 RCP Vaccinations, 3 Dewormings, Certificate for a Rabies Vaccination, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering by a participating veterinarian.
