If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email the adoption counselor: [email protected] and request an adoption application. Dog's Names: Moses (MOS0325OWSMN) and Wadud (WAD0325OWSMN) Estimated Breed : Bichon/Yorkie (Tan) - Bichon/Poodle (White) Approximate Age: 5 and 7 Approximate Weight: 22 pounds, 19 pounds Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $700 (for the pair) DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Looking for a furry companions who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless love into your home? Moses and Wadud could be the pair for you! Moses and his companion, Wadud, have come to us for rehoming, as their previous owner became ill and could no longer care for them. Since they have lived together for many years as a bonded pair, we would prefer to adopt them together. Personalities: Moses and Wadud are very friendly, and enjoy being around people. They also love playing together. Training & Behavior: Because Moses and Wadud did not get a chance to get out much when their previous owner fell ill, they likely need a refresher in housetraining. They both know to go to the bathroom when taken outside on leashes, and both are leash trained. Moses does not appear to be a big barker, but Wadud likes to use his voice. Both get along with other dogs. Health & Wellness: Both dogs are up to date on vaccinations and neutered. Because the two have not received much exercise in the past several months, they are slightly overweight and could benefit from more exercise and diet so they can feel better and expend more energy! Perfect Home: The boys would benefit from a home that will commit to giving lots of love, attention, exercise, and a reasonable diet. Because of Wadud's tendency to use his voice, we do not recommend apartments or townhomes. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee. Sponsor Me!
