Meet Pru (special needs)

This little sweetheart was picked up by animal control as a stray. We named her Pru.Pru has problems using her back legs and the initial xrays revealed some concerns in her spine. However, this does not prevent her from running around and playing. She just tires quicker. We have a MRI scheduled for her beginning of January to hopefully find out what causes her condition.Regardless of her condition, Pru is a super sweet, happy and playfull 8 months old puppy. She is great with dogs of all sizes, seems to do well with cats and is fantastic with children. Pru rides well in the car and is doing well on the leash. Needless to say, we are looking for a home for her with little to no steps as we are working on getting her a wheelchair. At this point Pru is house trained but not potty trained. She does have accidents in the house and we are working on it to see if this can be controlled by implementing a strict potty schedule. Pru can be a little scared of new things but otherwise loves to cuddle and wants to be near you.We do not know what happened in Pru's past life  and what led to her disability but we will make sure that her future is looking bright. Due to her medical condition and ongoing medical needs we will waive the adoption fee to an approved adopter.
