Meet Linsy

Good girl Linsy is over 6 months and 19 lbs.  She warms up quick and socializes well with all ages.  Great with other dogs and kids.  She greets with kisses.  We will learn more as she settles in with her new foster.  We couldn’t be more thankful for our fosters!  Dog Adoption Application  https://islanddogrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7208 update with Linsy: Linsy is such a SWEETIE!! She takes a little time to warm up but she’s interacting well with our dogs here but we noticed that she likes to have space when she gets overwhelmed. She likes being in her crate.  It seems to be her safe space. Linsy has had no potty issues indoors (yet) and it takes her time to potty outside, she likes to smell the roses.  Super food motivated and quick learner! She will be an easy dog to train and wants to please her humans. We also learned that she’s more receptive to Spanish than English! She’s a bilingual girly! Overall very low maintenance dog at the moment, doesn’t bark yet and wants to be cuddled up with someone.

Adoption Process
Potential adopters/fosters will complete an application, have an interview with one of our volunteers, once approved, they can schedule meet and greets with our available dogs. All adoptions are trial at first, once finalized a contract will be signed. We require spay or neuter of all animals. Most adoptions are $395.
