Saving Great Animals

We are a group of volunteers to aim to save as many death row animals as possible. We work solely through a network of fosters and trial adopters and do not have a facility. We feel that shelter animals deserve a second chance and that euthanasia is not the answer.

Meet Milo - Darling Boy

Meet Milo! This cutie was found as a stray by our rescue partners in Yakima. He is just adorable! Milo is around 4 years old and 8.5 lbs. Just a tiny fella.  He has a lot of hair missing from his back and was checked out by the vet. No medical cause was found so we think he may actually be a Chinese-crested hairless mix, which would explain the way he looks.  From his foster mom: Milo is doing great. He’s coming out of his shell and spontaneously went to the toy basket on day 2 and picked out toys to play with. He is housebroken and hasn’t had a single accident in the house. He loves to snuggle and nap on a pile of blankets and likes to be close to me - sleeping on my leg. He walks very well on a leash and looks up to check in with me often. He is  eating and drinking well and his poops are solid. He has met my daughter who he was comfortable with right away and met another female friend who he was a little nervous around but got used to her. He is a very easy going loving guy. He will make a wonderful pet.  Milo will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450

Adoption Process
We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
