Meet Dottie - Sweet Little One
Meet Dottie! Dottie and her sister Kit were found abandoned. They are just tiny pups who did not deserve to start their life that way. They are now safe and warm in a fantastic foster home and are thriving. We are not sure what their breed mix is. They are quite small, only 5 lbs at 8 weeks of age and will likely grow to a medium size when full grown (around 35 lbs). They have the look of a Collie type dog, but are certainly not the size of one. They clearly have a very mixed DNA! Dottie and Kit are such lovely pups. They are happy, social and friendly. They play, snooze, eat and repeat and are so much fun to watch. We would love to see Dottie with a family dedicated to her socialization and training as she grows up. Puppies are a big commitment and are time consuming. Dottie and Kit will have had their first puppy vaccinations, microchips and deworming. They will be spayed at our cost between 8-12 months of age. Their adoption fee is $525.
Adoption Process
We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
