Meet Everest, a Pug-Jack Russell-Dachshund puppy

Everest Polar is one of 5 puppies born to Dove in November 2022. He is approx 7 months old and currently weighs 13 pounds. Everest has a black nose and creme and white soft medium-length fur.                                                    Everest is a bit shyer than his brother Polar. He still loves to be held and talked to. Everest likely has many breeds in him. The dominant breeds seem to be Dachshund-Pug-Jack Russell.  Mom has Pug in her and has more of a Pug coat and short Pug ears.  Everest is smart, a bit shy, cuddly, and playful.  He gets so excited when he sees his person he wrinkles his nose and pulls back his lips in a toothy smile, It is so adorable!!  Everest will make a great companion for a person who wants a dog they can take everywhere and can keep well socialized. What Everest Needs Everest needs at least one other dog in the home to be his best friend, mentor, and playmate. He loves other dogs and needs a dog buddy. Puppies also require a lot of care and attention so they grow up well-adjusted and well-trained without unwanted behaviors, so, he needs someone who works from home, is retired, or is gone minimally from home so he is not left alone. puppies need consistent daily training to be potty trained, oversight so they do not get into mischief or become injured, and daily training exercises.  Everest has been too young to harness and lead train but is coming of age to begin this training. We can guide you to training videos and online trainers to help you raise and train a puppy.  The last picture in the series is Everest's mom-Dove. How To Apply To Adopt Everest Please use this link to apply, One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for Everest.
