Meet Layla

Animal Profile: Layla is an estimated 6- to 8-month old 35 lb spayed female mixed breed -- possibly border collie with lab. She's a unique looking dog with an adorable overbite. She is friendly with other dogs both male and female as well as cats. She has had some time in foster care, and her foster parents report she is potty trained and average energy, but does like to play. In addition to all dogs and cats, she also does well with the older kids in the home. She is a little shy but sweet and improving with leash training as well. We will share more about her as we get to know her in Seattle area foster care.  Foster Update: Stay tuned for details. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test, and microchip. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred to us from Tulsa Animal Control via our rescue partner Furry Freight, arriving to Seattle on 2/19/23. S/he will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care in the greater Seattle area.
