Meet River
Meet River (or Kai), an 8-year-old, 65 lb bundle of joy who’s ready to find his next adventure buddy! Whether it's hiking in the great outdoors or simply curling up by your side for some relaxation, River is always up for whatever you have in mind. He’s in perfect health—microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and neutered—making him a great addition to any home.Although River enjoys spending time with people and is a fantastic travel buddy, he prefers being the only pet in the house. He’s not a fan of other dogs or cats, but his big heart and loyal nature make him the perfect companion for an adult-only home or a family with kids over 10. River is gentle with children, though he may sometimes get a bit territorial when it comes to his humans.A lover of fetch and good times with his best friends, River is the kind of dog who’s always ready to play and show his love. His loyal, dependable nature means you’ll always have a friend by your side who truly loves you.If you’re interested in meeting this lovable, adventurous guy, head over to the Alternative Humane Society website to fill out a statement of interest. River can’t wait to find his forever home!
