Meet Bonita a Sweet Dachshund mix puppy

BONITA Sweet Bonita was rescued from the streets Of Loreto, in Baja Sur Mexico.  They had a rescue who wanted them, but no escort to accompany them to Oregon, so Rompin Paws stepped up.  These sweet puppies are relaxing in foster care, enjoying our spring weather, and waiting for their new humans to give them a forever family.  From the foster: " Bonita can be a bit shy to start out but with a little extra love she warms up quickly. She needs a bit of encouragement but will give you the best cuddles as a reward. She nuzzles into your neck and just wants to be loved on. She’s afraid of going down the stairs (we mastered up the stairs pretty easily and I’m sure down will be here in the near future. She LOVES playing with other dogs and will always find a random stick to pack around the yard" What Bonita Needs Bonita will do her best to grow up with another dog in the family who can mentor her, show her how to be a dog, and be a lifetime friend. Bonita loves having a doggie friend and she will miss her sister. A yard will give her a safe place to play between walks and adventures with her humans but an apartment with active adopters will also be considered. How to adopt Bonita Please use this link to apply, One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for Bonita. If it looks like a match can be made, then the next step is a meet and greet. Here is the link. Please use a computer as tablets and cell phones will drop the app.                                                       Bonita has been weaned onto a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. SHE LOVES HER FOOD!  We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt Bonita, she has a $550.00  adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.     Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                                                                                                                                                      https://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
