Meet Dove a small Dachshund Mix female

DOVE Dove is just a sweet little docile girl who is slowly coming out of her shell after a scary life.  Dove was rescued with her 5 puppies and 15 other dogs from having lived inside a small car with a homeless woman. She spent a week at the shelter separated from her puppies as they had the wrong momma in with them, so when they were reunited she was beside herself in joy.  Dove appears to be of 3 breeds. Dachshund, Parson Terrier, and Pug. She is absolutely adorable, petite, and sweet. Dove is friendly, just a bit cautious which makes sense given what she has been through. Dove has been vaccinated and will be ready for a home and family sometime in February. We are accepting applications so we can make the best match for her. What Dove Needs Dove will do best in a quiet home but seems to love the company of friendly dogs. A dog or two will help her acclimate and they can be her mentors. Dove is shy and cautious to start but warms up and loves cuddles. She is young and we suspect she became pregnant while still a puppy. Her puppies show a lot of pug features so there must have been a Pug in that car. Dove will make a sweet lap dog family member who in time you can take with you on car rides and RV travel or explore the property or neighborhood on quiet walks with her doggie buddies. How To Apply To Adopt Dove Please use this link to apply, One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for Dove. If it looks like a match can be made, then the next step is a meet and greet. Here is the link. Please use a computer as tablets and cell phones will drop the app. Dove has been weaned onto a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. SHE LOVES HER FOOD!  We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt dove, she has a $550.00  adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                                                                                  https://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
