She was running out of time when she got rescued. If you are looking for a "good girl", Nori is the one for you! She is fully house trained but might need some help in a new home (didn't have any accidents in her foster home). She is about 2 years old and won't get any bigger. She enjoys playing with other dogs, her energy level is high so an active home is perfect for her. She isn't a hyper dog but will keep up with you on hikes! She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is a submissive dog. Nori lived with many dogs in her foster home in California and she got along with all of them. She is even good with cats! Her coat won't need any haircuts but sheds a little bit. This scruffy girl is smart, charming and fun. She gets along well with people, kids and other dogs. She likes the company of other dogs so another dog in the home will be good, this will keep her active and tired. Nori is looking for her forever home, she just arrived in Vancouver. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. Adoption Process
-adoption application, phone interview, home visit, meet the dog. Adoption fees range from $400 to $600 depending on the dog's age. Contract required. Spay/neuter if animal currently too young & return policy to us if animal can no longer be kept, unless other contract arrangements previously made.
