Meet Trex
Meet Trex, a 1.5 y/o mixed breed male with a heart of gold. Weighing in at 50 lbs and standing barely knee height, Trex is roughly three times as long as he is tall. His low-rider stature, “party” ears, chunky paws, and speckled nose are simply irresistible - and it doesn’t stop there! Trex is eager to please, engaged with his humans, playful and loving. He is an absolute joy to be around. The FactsHousebroken: YesCrate Trained: In progress; it’s going great.Children: Trex has lived with children in the past, we recommend ages 6+.Leash Walking: Overall does well on leash; will pull if excited. Shows interest in small animals and other dogs that will require continued redirection and training.Living with Other Dogs: Trex would do well as the only dog at home, or with another adult dog of similar temperament and play style. Trex lived with dogs of many ages in his previous home, but was relinquished due to poor behaviors around a young dog approx 5 months of age. For this reason, we consider Trex to be “dog selective” and an introduction to your dog will be required prior to bringing Trex home for trial.Living with Cats: Not recommended at this time due to prey drive.Enjoys: sniffing, chewing bones, giving & receiving affection.Interested in this wonderful dog? Please fill out a statement of interest on our website.
