Meet Skittles

Age: About 4 years old. Weight: 48lbs as of Monday. Skittles is spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, and housebroken. She knows No, Bad, Good Girl, sit, and Bring It Here (kind of, "Here" is about three feet away). We adopted Skittles sweet self a little over a year ago after her former owner (who rescued her from an unknown situation) passed away unexpectedly. She had a tough time fitting in a first, which is understandable, but she got better. We suspect she has anxiety due to whatever she experienced before her last owner saved her, and she reacts fearfully and defensively towards other dogs at times because of it. She has NEVER, to our knowledge, bit or attempted to bite a person. She is also a thunderbuddy. She loves to snuggle, and thinks she's a lap dog. She's sweet as can be, and it breaks our hearts to have to rehome her but she really needs a quieter environment and more experienced owner. We've never had a Staffy before her and it happened very suddenly, so we were not as prepared as we thought we were to give her the care she needs.
