Meet Oliver
Oliver is a great little companion dog. He is 9 yr old on the 9th of January. He is micro chipped and will be up-to-date on all shots before adoption. He is housebroken. Oliver is a Chi mix who weighs in around 15 pounds. He was living with an elderly gentleman with Parkinsons for 5 years and they were together almost all the time. He is settling in nicely at his foster home with a small dog (who can be a little pushy and bossy).Sadly, Oliver lost his person when his person suddenly died. But before this happened, Oliver got daily walks which he enjoyed. He does not pull on the leash and is very responsive on leash. He has not been around cats or livestock. He has been treated for some itchiness but that seems to have been resolved. He is a clean dog with not much shedding.Oliver would love to sleep in his person’s bed but has settled into sleeping on his doggie bed. He has his own crate which he uses occasionally but he prefers to be with his person.Because of his age, Oliver would probably like a quiet home and would be happy to share with another pet of his size and temperament or with just his own person. Oliver is a quiet dog and very easy to live with. He took a week to really warm up to me, probably due to his age. We oldsters need a little more time to adjust than young pups. He would make someone very happy. Please fill out a Statement of Interest for him at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/
