Meet Ella, a French Bulldog female

ELLA Is a purebred French Bulldog whose owners dumped her at a park as witnessed by park attendees. she tested Positive for Giardia so they would not or could not afford a vet is our best guess. Giardia is treatable and she is being treated to kill this intestinal parasite. Ella is a bit nervous after her scary stint at the shelter and having been abandoned. She is also showing her curious nature and her playful side. She likes to jump on the furniture to explore and check out her new foster home. Ella is 3 years old and we are unsure if she is spayed, but given that the last 5 dogs we were unsure were spayed and opened them up only to discover they were, we are hesitant to put her under and prefer to wait and see if she goes into heat for that answer. We prefer to adopt Ella to someone already familiar with her breed and specific needs. her snout is longer than show dogs (thank goddess!) so her breathing g is a bit better, but high heat days can be difficult for her. since it is so critical to Frenchies' longevity, it is imperative that they receive the best nutritional food and supplements. Ella has been transitioned to a Human grade, canine-specific diet for her optimal health and we will educate the adopters on her proper feeding and care. Ella has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen.
