Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, nationally and internationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.

Meet JUDY ROBINSON - adopted

NAME: Judy Robinson (part of our "Lost in Space" group)   AGE/GENDER: 2 year old female   BREED: Fox terrier mix   TEMPERAMENT: Loyal, affectionate, smart   HOUSE TRAINING: Good!   CRATE TRAINING: Good!   OTHER DOGS: She would likely do well in a home with another dog.   CATS: Unknown   CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older   ADOPTION DONATION: $550   HEALTH: She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines.  Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.    HISTORY:  Judy was found in dangerous conditions outside. Our friends at Bone Voyage Rescue asked us to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!   NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME:  Judy is new in our care, but her former foster family shared that she is a sweet and well-mannered girl. She can be scared on walks with lots of traffic but is doing well with leash-training and will sit for treats. She is very sweet and loyal. She contently naps on her dog bed at night. Judy would be a good fit for a family with older children who are active.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual  nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew

Adoption Process
We’ll send you an application for you to fill out. Once we review it, we’ll follow up with any additional questions or to arrange a meeting. Upon meeting, we request that all family members and other dogs be included in the introduction to ensure that everyone has a chance to decide if it’s the right match for one another.
