Meet Milly

Meet ohhhh-so-sweet Milly! A 13 Lb, 5 yr old beauty inside and out. Milly is timid with new people but once she trusts you it is magical. Understandably the big world can be intimidating for such a little lady, but with a bit of time to settle in she has gotten so brave and funny in her foster home. She can still be unsure when someone stands over her or moves too quickly to pick her up (there may be some rough handling in her past) but getting down on her level and patiently offering a treat to help her warm up goes a long way in building her trust. Once she knows you’re safe she LOVES to be held and cuddled while gazing adoringly up at your face. Milly picked right up on house training and does well when kept on a routine and taken out regularly. She is doing great on a leash and enjoying walks around the neighborhood where she can take in all the smells. Milly is fostering with two bigger dogs and does just fine, but her focus is her people. Milly sleeps fine in her cozy crate but given the choice we bet she’d prefer snoozing in bed with her people. She is the perfect snuggle buddy for movie nights! She does have entertaining bursts of energy where she’ll zoom around, but then settles right back in for a nap on a soft blanket. Milly has done well left in a crate for short periods of time, but is not the right dog to leave home alone for extended periods of time. She loves, loves, loves nothing more than to be snuggled up with her favorite person/people. If you are looking for a sweet, funny and smart addition, this little love is ready to make a big impact on your heart. Milly is has had a recent Vet check, is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations. She is being fostered in SE Portland. Meets and home checks are part of the adoption process. Everyone in an applicant’s household must be able to meet at the foster’s location. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
