Animal Profile: Theodore is an adorable ~12lb, ~2 yr old chihuahua/terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino, CA. Foster Update: We’ve taken to calling this little love bug Teddy Lasso, for his relentless optimism, positive attitude and ability to embrace change, all things he shares with the tv character. He truly faces challenges and setbacks with a smile, and came off the transport from CA happy to start his new life! Teddy is also curious, energetic, and friendly with people and dogs (of all sizes). He’s house-trained, knows basic commands, and is working on getting used to his crate. So far we haven’t even heard him bark, he just whines now and again when he wants something. The Terrier in him enjoys being outside, taking daily walks, and playing a good game of tug. He also really loves balls! The Chihuahua side of him likes to cuddle, give lots of kisses, and curl up for a good nap. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
