Underdogs Rock! Rescue

We are a small Portland, Oregon based 501c3 organization rescuing dogs from the over crowded shelters in Southern California, Alabama, and Hawaii. We foster the dogs until they are healthy and help them find their forever homes! Contact us at [email protected] work directly with Rescue Groups in Southern California to rescue dogs who are on their last days in the high-kill shelters. Because our dogs are in Foster Homes we get to know the dogs personalities and needs. As we know the dogs well and how they do in a home environment, we do a great job in matching families with the right dog, and the right family for the dog!

Meet Panchito

Panchito, now called Chito by his foster, was rescued from a hoarding situation hairless and in terrible condition. Look at this 3 year old and 18Lb doll now.  He is ready to take the final step to a new life, finding a furever person who will love and cherish him with all their heart. He is on the shyer side, so a patient and gentle approach with him is needed. But, once he trusts and bonds with you, he will snuggle right up for affection every chance he gets. When he lays his head against you it will melt your heart. He's most comfortable with and bonds strongly to women, over men. He is fine with the dogs in his foster home, but it is a person of his very own he really wants to connect with over other dogs.  House training is good. He is good in the car and enjoys his walks. Though he doesn’t have crazy high energy, he will need daily exercise and someone interested in working on basic training with him (mental exercise). Training is an excellent bonding experience and as a bonus a wonderful way to help a shyer dog build up their confidence level. That he is treat motivated will help with training endeavors.   If you are looking for a cute cuddly little Muppet  who’s ready to devote himself to being your steadfast and faithful companion look no further than sweet little Chito. Chito is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. His adoption fee is $350. She is being fostered SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog    You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped out of the area. Home checks are part of the adoption process. PLEASE NOTE: Chito’s actual breed mix is unknown. Any posted breed is nothing more than a guess at a breed that has looks at least somewhat similar to him.   For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescue

Adoption Process
