Meet Augie
Meet Augie!!!This sweet boy is a 6 month old Border Collie Pyrenees mix. He currently weighs about 60 pounds. The vet estimates he will probably reach past 65. He is a goofy charmer and a people pleaser. He can get pretty excited about new things or treats up but overall his disposition is mellow. He is learning to sit and stay he hasn't quite gotten the concept of shake yet though. He loves people and is great with the family but if you give him some time to establish a bond he might end up chosing one person and be their most loyal companion. He can be a little slow to warm up to new people and he is sometimes uncomfortable around men but he has been to puppy adoption events with strangers and strange dogs and handled that chaos like a champ. He would do best with someone that has a large fenced yard, and can give him plenty of socialization and basic obedience classes.Interested in him? Please fill out a Statement of Interest at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/.
