Animal Profile: Eloise wound up in the Stanislaus shelter as a stray the week before Christmas. When no one came to adopt her, she wound up on ‘the list’ and was at risk for euthanasia due to space. We had to bust her outta there! She is a friendly, sweet puppy that deserve a chance to find a loving home. We can’t wait to meet her! Foster Update: Eloise is aprox 3 months old and weighs 22lbs. She is a sweet, affectionate and snuggly puppy from CA that is adjusting quickly to the good life here in Seattle! While we haven't had her long, she is doing great with potty and crate training, as well as picking up commands. Overall, she loves chewing on cheek rolls, playing with toys and her foster brother (who is a large dog). She is food motivated, can play independently and is respectful of our resident dog and cat. I predict she will be a laid-back adult dog. She loves to snuggle with us on the couch and would make a great addition any family! Due to breed and size we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, dog experience and a playful resident dog a plus! We are not considering apartments for Eloise at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
