Meet Star Trek
Meet Trek!Trek is a 7 month old Great Dane/Lab mix (we think) and has the best traits of both. He is the world’s best snuggler and loves to curl up to whoever is coziest under the blanket to watch movies. It was apparent when he first came home with his foster mom that he may not have gotten much attention at his previous home, which can cause some anxiety in new places, but with a couple treats and some love, he warmed right up and loves to be surrounded by his people. His foster mom has 2 dogs (one small and one big) and he gets along great with both. He loves to play and chase in the back yard but is gentle with his smaller foster sister and loves to try to lay with her for naptime. He will definitely need continued training but he loves to show everyone how amazing his sit is when asked (he is very proud). Proof of basic obediance training must be provided.Trek is a big dog and we guess he will only get bigger, so we think he would do best in a house without any super-little kiddos but he does great with the 5 year old at our house! He has not been tested around cats but with time, we think he would do just fine after an adjustment period. This dog has the sweetest personality and needs to find a home with lots of love attention and he will give it right back. Fill out a statement of Interest for him on our website.
