Meet Rosie the Xolo mix

Rosie the Mexican Hairless mix (Xolo) This paragraph was written by Rosie's foster in Mexico who cared for her for weeks before arriving in Seattle: Rosie is a very sweet dog that is totally house-trained and learns new tricks very quickly. She has learned the basic commands … sit, stay, and shake a paw … and then shake the other paw. She’s a bit nervous around new people and please don’t rush it. Once she gets to know you (and trusts you) she is very loving and loyal. Rosie loves being around her family and is happy lying next to you watching TV but loves her walks. She walks very well on a leash but you will need to use a harness and the wrap method with the leash as she can wriggle out a collar and a harness quite quickly if you do not use this method. Until she feels comfortable and trusts you, you will need to keep a watchful eye on her. The lucky family who adopts Rosie will have many hours of joy and love from her. She is truly one of the most loving dogs we have fostered. We will really miss her! View Rosie's videos to see her training in action. Rosie was rescued when her owners dumped her at an expat community 7 miles south of the town of Loreto Baja Sur, Mexico. this is very typical down there. we help the rescue in partnership to take in the small breed dogs they save and find them wonderful homes after they have been completely vetted and neutered. Rosie is fixed, up to date on her vaccines, has her basic training, and leash skills, and is ready for a forever family. Because she was seen immediately after being dumped, she did not suffer any trauma or starvation and took to her new situation quite nicely. How Can You Meet Rosie? Please use this link to apply, One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match  Rosie has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition for her and her new buddies. To apply to adopt Rosie she has a $595.00 adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.       https ://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
