Meet Küsse

Animal Profile: Küsse fka Sabel Kisses is an estimated 18-month-old, 60 lb female GSD (mal mix, we think) and momma to Sterling and Stone, her puppies. She was picked up as a stray in Texas and taken in by our rescue partner Fur Too Many paws. True to her name, she loves to give kisses. She has done well meeting other dogs while in foster care in Texas. We will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Küsse (German for kisses) is a sweet and affectionate girl. She has been fostered with several other dogs and plays nicely with all. She is confident, athletic and sensitive. She lives with a 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl and is great with both. No behavior issues observed while in foster care for 2 months aside from the occasional chewed baby toy or potty accident inside, and occasional jumping up for attention. She has not shown prey drive to small dogs or cats -- just curiosity. She loves to run, swim, give kisses and get belly rubs. Her ideal family would have space for her to run and play and time to train her, as she's smart and eager to please. Small kids, other dogs off all sizes and dog savvy cats ok but not required. Large breed experience preferred. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued as a stray in Texas and joined us from Fur Too Many Paws via Tall Tails Transport on Sat 11/26.  This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.
