Meet Punky

Animal Profile: Punky & Spunky are estimated 6-month-old, 40 lb altered male Mastiff mixes.  Our rescue partner observed that they are good with other dogs, "well socialized, calm in nature, and super sweet." Foster Update:  Punky is full of character and sweetness, and the best snuggler!  He LOVES his people and other dogs. He is respectful when other dogs don't want to play or are not interested in being his pal. He know his auto sits, and is fully housebroken with the use of a doggie door. His foster in Texas stated she was able to leave him at home uncrated and he never chewed on anything but his toys. He does love chew toys, stuffies and playing tug of war with one of his pals. He can be very playful but also pretty chill for a puppy! It doesn't take him long to get worn out and resting quietly after a bit of play. He sleeps through the night in the crate but will let you know with the sweetest howl that he needs to potty soon! He is pretty quiet but if he hears a strange noise he will let you know with a firm bark like a good boy! We are looking for a home with large breed experience and a home with a securely fenced yard. Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: This dog was rescued from Freer Animal Shelter through our partner.  They arrive in Seattle on Nov. 10, 2023.
