Meet Aspen, a Dachshund mix puppy

Aspen is a sweet 6-month-old Wirehaired Dachshund mix puppy that was rescued when found with her 7 siblings left in the mountains in Baja Mexico. Aspen has shorter legs (of the Dachshund), a soft wirehair coat, and a very sweet and loving disposition. Aspen is mostly Chocolate with tan highlights and is super adorable. She has striking green eyes (typical of Dachshunds)                       Aspen loves to cuddle, play with puppy friends, chew on a deer antler, and receive as much attention from her humans as possible. Aspen has a very soft personality and is incredibly intelligent. She learns commands easily and is potty trained.  She is outgoing and so gentle, but very, very playful. She does need a buddy dog to grow up with. Either with one of her siblings (lola is her bonded sibling) or with a playful, small breed pup or two already in your family. Aspen is up to date on her vaccines. She is too young to spay. We will work with the adopters and set a date with our vet to have the spaying done at the correct time. I am a puppy!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. I am not potty trained yet and teaching me those skills will help tremendously on the road to success!
