Meet Chip
Introducing Chip. He is a 1.5 year old small mixed breed. He weighs 15 lb and is on the thin side. He is pretty cute as you can see but he is a PUPPY! He likes to chew things and steal things and be quite annoying to other beings. He seems not to have been taught boundaries and because of that he is required to be signed up for basic obediance classes..On the other hand, Chip does have a great loving, sweet, good-natured disposition. He came from the shelter and with time he was shutting down. He spent a couple of days hiding in his crate at his foster home but he came out of his shelter and is enjoying life. He likes to chase balls and other toys and actually retrieves them and brings them back to be thrown again.I doubt he would be good with cats but he has not been tested with them in his foster home. He was initially skeptical about being handled but that is improving. On getting into the car he is hesitant but once in the car he relaxes, lies down and enjoys the ride. He loves to run and jump and for that reason I don't think he would be good with small children. He might knock them down.Chip will be neutered on 30th and microchipped as well. He was fully vaccinated at the shelter and at his age his teeth are marvelous, sparkling white.Chip is not used to being walked in the street and is apprehensive about traffic. He is fine on a leash in the yard. I left him in a harness but since he found it aggravating he chewed it trying to get rid of it.This is an active boy that would love playing fetch and running around in a fenced in yard. He is very sweet natured and has not been a barker so far.If interested fill out an statement of interest and let him know you would like to meet him.Oh yes, he has the softest ears ever!!
