Animal Profile: Meet Josephine! She's an estimated 3 month old, 24 lb female pup -- of the fluffy white variety, Husky mix (best guess). She was a stray intake to Tulare Animal Shelter. We expect she'll do best with a resident dog to guide her. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Have you ever wondered what it's like to hug a cloud? Wonder no more! This little girl is so incredibly soft. Josie is extremely playful, she’s always up for exploring and adventure, but she is equally as happy just having a snooze beside you or at your feet. She is great with other dogs and loves to run around with them. Josie adores children and she gets super happy when she sees a child coming; it's very sweet to watch. Josie is extremely smart and very food motivated. She is making great progress with her potty training, and she loves being outside in the sunshine. She has been learning some basic commands, and taught herself to use the doggy door in 4 days. I’m not going to lie, this little girl will steal your heart. She is adorably cute and extremely sweet and loving. Home with a securely fenced yard and a resident canine companion is preferred. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test, transport from California to Seattle. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org. Animal History: This dog was rescued from over-crowded Tulare shelter in California and arrived to foster care in Seattle on Tues 3/20. S/he will be available for adoption after evaluated in foster care in the greater Seattle area.
