**Pepper** Meet Pepper, a 5-month-old Bassett hound-Lab mix puppy who, along with his four siblings, overcame a challenging start. Abandoned and trapped in vines, one of his siblings had to undergo surgery, but Pepper emerged with minor damage to his left front leg, and he is healthy and thriving. Pepper is ready to embark on a new journey with his forever family. Pepper's adaptability and social skills are evident in his interactions with other dogs in her foster home. All love him, and his upcoming introduction to cats is a testament to his potential to fit into any loving family. Pepper is very well-socialized and is extremely cuddly.   Pepper is shy to start, then becomes a social butterfly   who thrives in the company of other dogs and humans. Having grown up with many dog friends in foster care, he's never been an only dog. Pepper loves socializing and playing, and having a dog-friendly companion in his forever home would be ideal. At 20 pounds, Pepper is a bundle of joy, with his basset hound legs, long body, and tail always wagging with happiness. His body sways joyfully, and Pepper's curious, loving, and playful nature will make him an excellent addition to any family.
