Meet Stu Lou Schnauzer-Shih Tzu mix male

Stu Lou Background Stu Lou is a 4ish yr old Schnauzer Terrier-Shi Tzu Mix. He weighs about 13 lbs. Stu was picked up as a stray in the Fresno area where he sat in the shelter for a month. As each day passed, he shut down more and more. When I got there to pull him he was cowering in the corner of the kennel and had to be picked up with a blanket. After being 'home' for 48 hours his true colors started shining thru -- Stu is a LOVER!!!! This guy is SO affectionate! He would love to be the only dog in your life -- but, would be willing to share you with another gentle dog. Stu also adores puppies and has taken to Polar a Dachsuind-Pug-corgi puppy here at the rescue. Stu is Neutered and up to date on all vaccines. What Stu Lou Needs Stu Lou prefers little chaos in his life. He LOVES to be held and carried -- he loves to slow dance with his human. He likes to sleep with his human at night, snuggling in close to keep warm. Stu would do best in a home without cats and would do well as an only dog.  Stu needs a person(s) who have time for him and can commit to his entire life so he will never again be abandoned. someone familiar/experienced with small breeds would be excellent. Stu needs someone who will be sure he receives exercise, adventure, and healthy food. he loves to dance on his hind legs to get your attention. He makes sounds like a cat purring when held close. he has the most beautiful hazel-chocolate brown eyes and he adores being cared for. Grooming him every morning after breakfast, washing his face and cleaning his teeth makes his day. How To Adopt Stu Lou   Please use the link below to apply. One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match for this pup.      If it looks like a match can be made, then the next step is a meet and greet. Please use a computer as tablets and cell phones will drop the app.  Stu has been  transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for his and his new buddies. To apply to adopt Stu he has a $595.00 adoption fee.  All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please fill out the online application using this link.  Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.                       https ://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/
