Animal Profile: Mando is a 5.5 month old, Terrier mix who will join us with his 2 siblings from California on 08/25/2024. These dogs have been rescued by our partners Angels of Rawley from a local California shelter where they were listed to be euthanized for space. We could not say no. They are currently in a foster home waiting for their freedom ride to the Pacific NW. They are good with dogs, kids and adults. We will share more info as we get to know them in foster care. Foster Update: Mando, the heart-stealer! This little pup is the sweetest, most affectionate furball we've ever had the joy of welcoming into our lives. He's an absolute cuddle monster, always ready to snuggle up and shower my 8-year-old child with puppy love. This little guy is always excited to play with kids. He is a bit shy at first meeting new dogs, but I have no doubt that with a little socialization magic, he'll be the life of the doggy party in no time.Watching Mando zoom around the yard with my son, chasing after that beloved ball, he's such fun pup. And when playtime is over, he's right back to being our little snuggle bug, content to curl up and dream sweet puppy dreams with his family. He's not the biggest fan of his crate but we are working on it, he's doing good on the leash, although he does bark and get excited at other dogs when he see's them om walks because he wants to ply He is doing great with potty training, Not a single accident so far (as long as we give him regular potty breaks)! We've even started teaching him some fun tricks, like the "name game" and "sit," and he's picking them up at lightning speed. He might not be motivated by treats, but his desire to make his family proud is all the fuel he needs. Mando is a furry bundle of love, joy, and endless potential. Mando would love a home with a securely fenced yard and kids to play with.
