Meet Augie
Meet Augie, he is a Great Pyrenees, Border Collie cross. His birthday is August 12th so he was 13 weeks old on Nov 11th and he's already 25 pounds. He is the biggest bestest boy (just ask him!) He is up to date with vaccines and has been microchipped but has not been neutered yet. This strapping young man was raised with a houseful of kids ages 5-12 as well as a cat and another small dog. His naturally chill attitude has allowed him to just go with the flow in his busy household. He is so sweet, affectionate and smart, just the ultimate snuggly chonk. He's been crate trained, sits on on command and knows that after naps we go outside for business, but he's not 100% potty trained yet. He has been going on walks to meet new dogs and people since he was 8 weeks old. He is a bit shy at first. He wants to meet everyone, just on his own time frame. He'll send off a few barks letting everybody see just how brave he is, but letting him take a look at the situation before introducing him allows him to feel as brave as his bark sounds.Augie still jumps up to greet you and is a bit nippy, as a puppy he will require basic obedience classes. He will be happiest with a large fenced yard as he grows into his full potential! If you are looking for an amazing companion or a wonderful family dog please fill out an application at https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/.
