Meet Oscar! This boy is so great! He is friendly and a good boy. He was found as a stray and we don't think he has ever had much training or attention so he doesn't know much. However, he has a nice temperament and is eager to learn. He is medium in size at around 35 lbs. His pictures make him look bigger than he is. Oscar is around 8 months old. We would love to find someone who is willing to teach him and train with him. He is worth it! He loves to be near you but it not needy, he loves walks but is not full of crazy energy. All in all he is a little 'green' but a blank slate for someone looking for a fun dog to train. Oscar is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450.
Adoption Process
We pull dogs from kill shelters and place them with fosters or trial adopters. All adoptions have 2 week trial. Adoption donation is made after trial period and certificate of ownership is issued. We also bring animals from owner surrenders into our organization so that they never enter the shelter system. We check references for all applicants and complete home checks. A great deal of our dogs are transported from CA to Seattle once we have found a foster or trial for them.
