Meet Coca
Meet Coca!Coca is a super sweet, friendly, active senior looking for someone who will shower her with love, attention and belly rubs. A 12-year-old, 55-lb. chocolate lab mix, she loves to be with her people, whether out and about or simply lazing around the house. As evidenced by her always wagging tail, Coca is a very happy girl. She loves to go for walks and while she has a limp from an injury when she was a pup and a bit of arthritis, it doesn’t slow her down in the least. She is good on leash and off, once she knows her surroundings. Coca is hard of hearing, though, so keeping her in visual range is important for recall. She gets along well with other dogs and is always excited to meet someone new. And she may not admit it, but we hear she’s been known to hang out with cats. After playtime, Coca is quite content to relax on her bed with her humans nearby. She will let you know when she needs to go out, wants attention, or thinks you’ve forgotten that it’s dinnertime.Need to leave the house for a bit? No problem. Coca is completely house-trained. Initially, she's a bit vocal about being left alone but she quiets down quickly and has shown no signs of destructive behavior. She’ll happily go with you in the car, too, of course. In a noisy environment? Coca doesn’t care. Because of her hearing loss loud sounds don’t bother her in the least. She doesn’t even mind the vacuum!Coca is wonderful with people, adults and kids alike. No warm-up period is necessary for this sweet and friendly girl! She wants nothing more than to be with her humans. If you are ready to give Coca her forever home you will be rewarded with lots of tail wags and love!Coca is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is available for adoption through Alternative Humane Society: www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Fill out a statement of interest today!
