Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Hank! This adorable 5-month-old mixed breed pup, likely a Shepherd/Hound mix, currently weighs around 35 pounds. He’s a sweet, playful boy with a big personality! Hank loves zooming around the yard, playing with his toys, and soaking up all the pets and attention he can get.He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a blast playing with his foster sister. Hank has also been living with cats in his foster home—while he’s sometimes tempted to chase or play, he responds well to redirection.Hank is making great progress with house and crate training and does well when kept on a consistent schedule. While he’d love a dog sibling to romp around with, he’d also be happy as the only pup in the home.This handsome guy is ready to meet his forever family—could it be yours?Hank is up to date on vaccinations/flea&tick/heartworm prevention, neutered and microchipped.Hank is available for adoption now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, Pa 15144Applications at pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt
