Meet Courage

Hey there, my name is Courage! At just 1-2 years old and ~60 lbs, I'm on a mission to find my forever family and prove that I'm ready for lots of love and fun!I absolutely love to play and carry toys everywhere! I would be great for an active family who can give me plenty of exercise. If I exercise every day, then I will be a cuddly couch potato at home. I get along well with medium to large dogs and kids who can match my playful vibe, but I’m also perfectly content being the only dog in the home, which means more attention for me! I've even been tested with cats and did well!I've already gone through some training, and I'm ready to show off my manners. I am crate-trained, house-trained, and do well on a leash after my initial 5 minutes of excitement. Even though I want to sneak hugs and kisses, I know not to jump on you. But I WILL try to play dumb, so you need to enCOURAGE me to remember my manners! I know basic commands—sit, stay, paw, and down—and I love learning new ones. Treats and praise? Yes, please!  I am VERY food motivated.My ideal family will be active enough for my adventurous side, loving and cuddly enough for my lazy side, and willing to reinforce my training so I continue to be a perfect gentleman.
