Meet Chico

Meet Chico! Chico was recently surrendered to our shelter. While his previous owner claimed he is part Pug and part Chihuahua, our vet believes he may actually be a mix of Lab and Beagle, or possibly Lab and Husky, or even Husky and Beagle. Whatever his genetic makeup, Chico is a wonderful dog who is sure to win your heart! Chico is playful but not overly energetic, making him a perfect companion for both active playtimes and relaxed evenings. He has a gentle and caring nature, and is incredibly affectionate. Since arriving at the shelter, Chico has been a bit confused and has shown a somewhat submissive personality. However, he is slowly becoming more comfortable and open, revealing his true, charming self. He came in Lyme positive, has been treated & is showing no symptoms, he is up to date on all vaccines and ready to find his forever home. Chico is desperate to leave the shelter. He has an emotional support toy that is fluorescent orange and it always in his mouth.  He won't even put it down for treats! Chico is ready to find a loving family. Adoption Process
Adoption application must be filled out first. If it is approved then the potential adoptor can meet the pet. If all is acceptable, we will collect the adoption fee at that time.
