Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Jack

Meet Jack! He is part of a litter that was born via emergency c-section on 1/30/25 after we found out their mother (Hound/Terrier mix) was struggling through labor and that their supposed father was a Cane Corso/Great Dane mix. These pups are uniquely named after the Vets and staff that helped save their lives!Jack took after his mama with his one mesmerizing blue eye. He plays with toys with his siblings and likes his little rope toys; but he will also run towards you to be cuddled. He can easily fall asleep in your arms. He has long/fluffy black fur, with some white patches on his chin, chest and toes. He currently weighs about 10 lbs.They will be turning 8 weeks old this week and are your typical playful pups! They are very well socialized with dogs of all sizes and kids. Cats should be okay due to their young age. They will be bigger dogs, probably anywhere from 60-80lbs when full grown.They will be ready for adoption 4/1/25! Apply for them through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, 15144 via www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt.
